The Homestead is a new luxury eco-conscious resort located on the Nambiti Private Game Reserve in South Africa set to debut in the summer of 2022.

Situated two and a half hours, by car, from Durban and three and a half hours, by car, from Johannesburg, Nambiti Private Game Reserve is regarded as one of South Africa’s most ambitious conservation initiatives and one of the few reserves where the majesty of the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino) can be experienced free from the threat of malaria.

The Homestead intends to connect people to the profound potential they have for impact through the discovery, connection, storytelling and education.

The property will offer 12 ultra-luxury lodge accommodations: six designed for couples or solo travellers (each with individual infinity pools) with the remainder intended for families or groups of 6 that can also be booked for a couple or solo travellers.

Guests will find a world-class spa, fitness centre, infinity pool with a swim-up bar, as well as multiple food and beverage offerings that encompass organic, locally sourced and African-inspired dishes curated by world-class chefs.

Transforming the traditional game drive, The Homestead will create a range of tailored experiences in their custom electric jeeps designed to stir the soul, fire up the imagination and spark a deeper sense of curiosity.

With sustainability at its core, the property’s design, architecture and art will be unlike anything else in South Africa, allowing The Homestead to become an integral part of the surrounding landscape connected to a natural wildlife-filled escarpment with a watering hole on either side.
