Hublot presents two Limited Edition watches to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Puerto Banús.

In 2020 it was 50 years since the inauguration of Puerto Banús, considered one of the most exclusive ports in Europe and one of the most emblematic worldwide. Inaugurated in 1970 by José Banús, its enclave is unique. It is surrounded by the unmistakable Andalusian white houses and protected by the Sierra Blanca mountain range. Today, you can find numerous international luxury boutiques and the most prestigious restaurants. Large yachts and sailing boats moor in the harbour.

Hublot pays tribute to this anniversary with two limited edition watches. Belonging to the Big Bang collection, the case diameter is 44 mm. The steel and blue ceramic version is available in 50 pieces, while the pink gold edition is limited to 25 pieces. The case back is engraved with the 50th Anniversary of Puerto Banús logo and the inscription Special Edition XX/50 or XX/25 referring to the limited edition number.

Inside the watch is a 42-hour automatic chronograph movement. The date window is at 4.30 o’clock and all the hour-markers and hands are luminescent. The blue colour of the ceramic bezel of both models is the same Pantone as the Puerto Banús blue and on the dial we can find the inscription “Puerto Banús Marbella 1970” at the 6 o’clock counter.

Again, the same Pantone blue colour has been used for the blue strap of the rose gold version. They clearly evoke the nautical world and lifestyle of this Mediterranean port.
